From 2011 to 2023, a Shiba Inu by the name of "Balltze" (affectionately known as Ball Ball) graced the internet with his presence in the form Cheems, the iconic doge meme that rode on the back of the original famous Shiba, whose face is on the dogecoin. Cheems is famous for his "boink" and the "Swole Doge" memes, but he has made many laugh in memes around the internet for 12 years. He has been a staple of the internet and meme culture since nearly the beginning - he was also a great dog, loved and cherished by all those who met him.

Yesterday, he crossed the rainbow bridge after a short battle with cancer. This post is in your honor, Cheems, for we have laughed many times because of you, and you will be remembered forever on the internet and in our hearts. Goodbye, friend, and continue to make people laugh in doggie heaven.
